IMHO, Wright has a very good point.  A 1st rank spell that at
the very least makes the opponent have to stress?  And a likely
outcome is death?  I don't currently have a book with me, but do
any other 1st rank spells have the same potential result?  What
ranks are Paralyze, Dark Sleep/Lock, etc.?  And those at least
allow you saves, yes?
