Ouch. had no thought of that. This could be where "Lyle's GM Integrity" (C)
comes into play. Doing such a thing is akin to forking over a bed of
teresium, the keys to the universe, etc... sure a GM could do it, but I've
got to believe we'd go off on him/her and then deal with the consequences.
These things can happen legitimately as long as it can be demonstrated
that it came about at a cost (a year of game play, etc...). I have a
Hirudo adventurer... to become a hirudo I followed every lead I could
find and when it looked like I found someone who'd do it, I lef my
magic items at home because I had the odds at 3:1 that I wasn't coming
back from my meeting. Dan handled things beautifully. If someone comes
to you and offers to turn you into a Hirudo... keep in mind that he
might just be wanting a snack that doesn't fight. Perhaps lulling you
along for a year of game time has served his cause and now he just wants
you eliminated. Dangerous game.
