I was under the impression that they moved with thought, since they are
partially on the ethereal plane; this is kind of a hold-over from the days
of D&D.  I don't know about immaterial creatures, tho; do the
spells/abilities just make their molecular structures less dense, or do
they run around on the border between two planes of existence?  

P.S.  I started a string again...heh.
