Hmm...I'm of the opinion that if you can't affect the physical world, you
can't produce sound.  In reality (oooh, reality), air is as solid as a
lead brick; it's just not as dense.  If you can't push a lead brick when
you are ethereal/immaterial, you can't move air either.
