If I remember correctly, the book states that the MIND stores all 
knowledge that a person gains.  The SOUL transfers all the 
experiences and information from one's perceptions (sight, hearing, 
etc.) to the MIND.  If this is correct, then when a person's SOUL
is removed (and isn't attached to the MIND) they still function
enough to survive, but will have no imagination, emotions, etc. (also
stated in the book).  The person will also no longer to gain EPs since
information isn't being relayed to the MIND.

I am not exactly sure how elves work.  Maybe they are so "layed back"
because they lack a soul.  I don't know.

I think the above information is correct.

Any comments or suggestions based on fact, not opinion?
