Just called union scheduling at 494 8910 ... they're only open M-F 8 to 5

Speaking with someone at the Union hotel desk, 494-8900,... no dice ...
there are a BUNCH of groups spamming rooms this weekend.

HOWEVER, a number of them get freed up at or around 8:00 p.m.

The rep from the union hotel suggested we catch one of the setup crew and
see what's available when we arrive.

They'll also be spammed Sunday, so the setup crew will definitely want to
turn those rooms around ASAP.

Unfortunately, there's no better way to get hold of someone from setup
staff than to wander the building looking for them :(

If possible, I'll see if I can hit campus early and snag some rooms about
6 or so ... I'll check with the hotel desk to see if they're in use.
