Re: parrying or Multi Skills

Don't think it did.

Weren't there two (or perhaps 2 distinct(sp) discussions on one
proposal)?

One dealt with using multiple skills, and the other dealt with using
multiple sub-skills of the combat weapon skill at once

(i.e. 2 extra attacks, and setting the first to be +2 to damage would be a
3d6 check ... 2d6 for the extra attacks, 1d6 for the bonus damage)

I think the first concept got nixed because of some reference or argument
dealing with use of one "action" per round (plus fractional movement)

An "action" being casting a spell, using ONE skill, or making an attack
(the exception was using weapon skills to enhance the attack or something
like target magic or any of the casting skills to enhance a spell)

I think the second concept got nixed because CWS states any ONE option
(increase hit, increase damage, smaller hit and damage increase,
quickdraw, and multiattack) can be checked against explicitly.

My $.02 on the "multiple skills at once" issue is that it should be
possible, but the gm should be able to bump up the difficulty of the skill
checks as they see fit (i.e. beyond a uniform +1 to each skill).

... if one were to accept that only one skill could be used at once, you
couldn't have someone using "move silently" and "shadows," but using
"shadows" while being effected by the catspaw spell would be kosher.

Heck, what happens when I blow my ballance check, and want to use
tumbling to keep from cracking my little character's head wide open?
