Re: armor
I disagree. That's like saying it is impossible to punch someone and do
damage if they are in full plate or have natural armor. In reality, I
wouldn't punch someone head to toe in metal armor - it'd sting and I might
break my hand. However, my punchin skills are not the best by any
means. In the game, if someone has rolled sufficient enough to
overcome the person/creature's CDV, they have overcome the limitation of
not having a clear target.
Besides, you can be injured with your own armor. It doesn't provide a
permanent gap between you and it through which nothing can be transfered.
It is simply designed to redestribute the force and lessen the impact seen
by the body. Whether the fist hits you or whether the helmet hits you
after being hit by the fist, it doesn't really matter.
The same thing applies for immobilize. If you roll well enough, you have
found the right place to hit that cod piece casing it to hit the person
square in the jimmy. I'm not saying that that should be an easy check. I
feel that it should be based on the CDV.
