A group of adventurers witnessed the death of a rogue priest of Tarus, whom
passed a note to them before he died. They in turn eventually deciphered the
note as a method describing how to cross breed certain grains to create a
hybrid with twice the standard growth pattern. Until they succeeded in
disseminating this information (via the Sanctuary and to sanctuaries nearby)
they were subject to attacks by agents of the Taruan Archivists.

With the Sanctuary teaching farmers nearby how to use this new hybrid, the
food shortage in Roguetero will be slightly alleviated in 4-6 weeks time.
