Here here! Actually... I'm sure we'd all like to be caught up. I know
I would.
However, as always, I lean toward newbies starting on their own little
island and then merging with us after the plague :) Having to deal with
out politics and plot points is distracting. But if you don't deal with
it they have disturbed world views. Best to keep things seperate.

I dunno. I do think that people who show up should be roleplaying from the
second they walk through the door and should _NOT_ let on that they are
normal players. If the newbie games are on saturday night it gives some
of the older players to shed skins and go for a totally fresh start...
since they would have to be either newbies or players but not both.
Historically this has been frowned upon because these players put their
taint on new players. This is a Bad Thing. That means that experienced
players in the newbie campaign would have to role play as second fiddle,
follower, servent type characters and let the newbies grow normally.
Doable... and given the 2-3 people showing up for newbie games in recent
years, maybe even necessary to have some plants to keep critical mass
up.
Challenging roleplaying role... live action everytime. Average players
need not apply!

Dah. I think this would be most beneficial.
