Rougtero Game 3/27 Summary

The players, hired by the Enclave to investigate a death of a Priest of
Anubis, successfully thworted two attempts to steal the Spaulding Hammer
slated to be used to stop the return of the mage king Drevel.

The first attempt was made by a fire mage named Drake, a known associate
of the rondo tryig to bring back the mage king.  Trying to find where the
hammer is, Drake kidnaps the Priest of Anubis that had the job of
'quartermaster' believing that the Seplechur has the hammer. Unsuccessful
in getting information out of the priest, Drake attempts to kidnap Hector
and Julius Spaulding.  The party ran across this and successfully
prevented the abduction, capturing Drake and one of his orc henchmen.
In the insuing trial, Drake was found guilty of murder and attempted
kidnaping and was promptly executed the following morning.

The second attempt was made by a D'Talliono team of five under the command
of a man by the name of Marcus Billingsley.  His team was unable to ambush
the party as they left town with the hammer.  The party managed to capture
of the theif of their team and seriously wound their stalker.  There was
insufficient evidence to convict the theif and she was subsequentally 
release. However, her body was found tied underwater to one of the posts
supporting a pier.  I currently have write-ups on the remaining four
members of the team should anyone wish to use them.


There were no player deaths.
