Re: Club page
Reference all you want but the Centralia material is the property of
the Centralia GMs/Players and is not really anything to do with the
club. So the answer is... reference but don't borrow.
As for the state of Centralia... Here's what I know.
Several months back the temple of Ra (and the so-called "constructionist
movement") was put down. There was much in the way of public trials for
any priests taken alive. During the trials it was proven unequivically
that while these people were priests they weren't priests of Ra. None of
them confessed and any attempt at gathering intel from them caused the
priests to die. They were immune to what the currently lamed out priests
of Taurus were able to try also... one of the priests, a woman, escaped
before her execution... rumor has it that she had the help of the city
counsel for whatever reasons... The Enclave is investigating still.
Several Lords reappeared during the war and a few more drifted home
afterward (causing a slight shift in power as the late comers are no
longer as respected as those who actually fought for Centralia). The
city councel runs the city. The Lords are above the Law, as always.
Certainly tension is increasing about two, competing forms of
government (more on this in future games).
Adventurer's are the love of the city once more. Posing as an adventurer
is now considered criminal and such posers are quickly whacked (see a
crime, punish it :).
Prall is on the upswing. They now have their own trade routes and have
bargained with Centralia to get decent wages for the Pralls who come
into clean and serve. The city still contains cut-throats and thugs
but such people are in demand now in other parts of the world and often
become adventurers. Prall is on the way to becoming a world class trade
city that Centralian festidiousness never _really_ allowed Centralia
city to become. This is, naturally, increasing the tension between
Centralia and Prall. At present everyone doubts that it will come to
blows since both cities are still licking their wounds from the last
war.
The possessed can still occasionally be found wandering around.
Pregada is status-quo... a burb.
Is'Damor is still missing.
The temple of Scrogg is the same as it ever was. The temple of Orus
is partially underground, mostly in the Fort of Orus and everywhere
a priest damn well feels the need to preach. A lot of people listen
because Orus, after all, saw what was going on and sent his vengence
to the people.
The temple of Anubis is boarded up. The priests all disappeared with
Is'Damor and none dare enter. The guild if Wizards has stated that the
entire place is warded. Two to three priests of Anubis hang out at
the milk bar on Shiner Street.
The Guild of Wizards has opened an annex in Prall... a fact which
didn't impress the Centralia city councel. Quoth the Guild: "Get
bent".
