Not if the write-up was bounced from Gm to Gm.  Sometimes player's
write-ups (not necessarily their characters; more their
character's businessa(es)) have gotten to me by someone other than the
person playing the character.  

Plus, things change week to week at AQ so if the date on the write-up 
isn't recent then I either won't use it or I'll track the person down and
ask some questions.

It doesn't even need to be as profound as a character's death but,
granted, that is the extreme.
