Re: Rougtero Vivocefo

Umm..There has been a Beacon of Orus in Rougtero for many years both
real time and game time. Actually if I remember correctly, 2 competing
folks for it. A woman(whose name escapes me) who was incredibly
beautiful and might have made a pact or some such with an otherworldly
creature for more than normal influence. The other was a player. I
think the player won out and has been the Beacon for over a decade
game time and 3+ years real time. Regardless there has been a Beacon
in Rougtero for a long time.

I also believe the Beaconship of Rougtero was determined by popularity
within the priesthood. I.e. how many priests subscribed to your
beliefs and leadership, as well as overall spell power in Orusian
spells. i.e. things that take a whole lot of time and effort, and
not maintained by those who don't sit there and preach a shitload. But
as I said, Lyle was running this and would know more than I.
