1) Armor. If anyone has any doubts whatsoever about folks moving
in armor, I have a video tape that you should see. Even
has a spiffy scene of a guy in plate armor doing flips
and cartwheels.
2) Armor Charm the spell.
This thing is UTTERLY worthless. For a rank 11 spell it
adds +1 to DVs. For 3 rank or rank 3 spells you can get
better results(shimmer and iron defense) of 2+ to each
DV for cheaper unit cost. For spells like Flame dance,
immolate, parallax, flatten, nimble, etc... you get
far greater benefits than just boosts to DVs with with
even greater DV benefits. Stuff like damage reduction,
bonuses to skills, ability to go under doors, etc...
Armor charm is rank 11, higher than all of the above except
Flatten(I think don't have my book), it should give something
more than +1 to DVs.
For the kind of juice and xp you need to shell out you should
get some more benefit too it. Example: For each finess
you get +1 DV, or add a property to the armor. Properties like:
+1 DV per finess
-1 pt to damage taken
+20' of movement up to normal movement max
removal of a stat penalty
1pt benefit to RCs for the wearer against physical effects
For a rank 11 spell it should do more than just part of the
effects of a MUCH lower ranking one.
