Well, Joe, I understand how you feel about being screwed with. One of my
characters, in the pursuit of his job and seeing adventurer posting such as
"Killers needed" or such, will send some of his "agents" to investigate the
matter. However, just prior to playing, I am informed that my character's
"agents" are lightning bolted until they either leave or are dead. How am I
as a player supposed to counteract that? And it has happened more than
once.
I try to be nice and not screw with too many adventures becasue I certainly
know how depressing to watch the adventure that I spent time planning go
down the crapper 5 minutes into the adventure; but there's not much that I
do when people post such obviously illegal adventure hooks.
Another point of contention is in relation to your death squad action. I
was not here when you did those actions (last fall) and I'm not saying that
you couldn't/shouldn't do them - just I wasn't here to play my character
that would have wanted to react to them. The problem that I have is that,
as I understand it, you had a booth set up were you were
collecting/exchanging items and the GM(s) who ran this didn't seem to
consider the Pirsts of - I mean, my character's "agents" or their resources.
Like I stated, I'm not advocating that your character be prohibitate from
doing such actions. Simply, it happens to me a lot (these are just a couple
of examples).
