I ran a time-travel adventure a few months back where the adventurers
went to the temple of Taurus so that someone could scry them and prove
they really were from the future. The high priest of the temple did
the scrying as a favor to one of CEntralia's most beloved artisans.

What he saw of the future left a definate impression on him. Knowing
that he should not have that knoweledge and that he would inevitably
do something to screw up the timelines the priest did a quick: "They
are telling the truth" and then high-tailed off to the mages guild
and had himself put into suspension (type 1 blue field) until after
the game date the adventurers came from. One of the adventurers bribed
the guild to make it a year later than that so he'll be popping out
any time now... and when he does he will attempt to revive the
temple and way of life even if the god is dead.
