The problem is if the blue field is to relative to something, it must be 
relative in all three dimensions.  Therefore it should not move left or 
right, up or down, forward or backward, or in any diagonal.  It should be 
relative to what one is standing on period.  If they are flying, or in 
space(not standing on something)  They become relative to the nearest 
object.  To prevent the "lift the smuck up and move him, you make the 
thing the target is standing on attached to the object it is in contact 
with and so on until there is an object connected to the blue field that 
is not moveable(easily, as even jaern can be moved).If people go "well I 
can use that to glue things together"  Recall that glue is a low rate 
common magic where blue fields are high rate necromancy spells.  I think 
the high rate spells should be able to have the ability to do some things 
done by lesser spells.
