Re: Souls in elves
Ah Orion...Of course bacteria and yeast don't have souls. I was just
hypothesizing that in humans, lizards, and orcs the soul and how it
interacts with the bodies cells (or molecules in the case of some mutos),
requires that the soul is happy, healthy and functioning properly.
Spells that target the soul disrupt this process and cause a percentage
of the cells to start dying..hence causing physical damage. Elves (as
who as you pointed out) have been bred to where their cells do not
require this soul and hence would not be effected unless they were
somehow given a soul that was "theirs" and hence their body cells health
was contingent on its presence.
