Without a doubt. If there is a spirit already there though the
body will reject the soul. If you managed to get an elven "husk"
that hasn't died due to being a husk it can easily stay there
as long as the body is alive. If a God deems to give an elf a
soul it will also stay ( but then again you just involved a God.
