About the Nomad using slave bodies and burning the health its been done.
Some Nomads would at this point possibly consider you as bad as a second
lifer and your Guardian Spirit may just abandon you. I know there is a
posibility of finding out about this kind of indiscriminate "killing"
someone will hunt down the offender and stop them.

As for the EU part they are stored in the body. The mind is just the
transformer to get the magic to do what you want it to do. A mind is
not a brain it is a realization of the thought process that is
utilized by a spirit and soul. A computer AI has a mind but can't cast
spells.
