Re: Drowning, some compromise

Pop your responses to me ASAP, people, I'm hoping to have a workable
proposal by Saturday morning so it can be taken to AQ and have the GM's
that don't have E-mail comment on it before it's proposed for house rules.

1) Talked to Jeven by chance earlier today ... swimming in the chain
wasn't EASY, it just wasn't anywhere near as hard as swimming with the
army bag of about 100 pounds of stuff in it. Especially when compared to
just swimming in the 40-60 pound chain.

2) Clothes,or the equivalent thereof are assumed to be worn under leather,
all that is assumed under chain, and all that is assumed under plate.

3) Don't want to screw with clothes inflation rules. If I REALLY wanted
to, I could jump in the river myself, and assuming the clothes don't
disintegrate, splash enough air in them to not have to swim at all in
about 5 or so minutes.

This is already getting more complex than it needs to be.

Regardless, clothes do a passable job of trapping air in them. Clothes
with metal on top do not.
