Um, I should think that a 1 pound object flying at over 100mph is going to 
do more than a D4. Likewise a 5 pound rock at that velocity is going to 
be devastating. A 10 or would likely leave little more than a greasy smear
of most people, and the 100 pound object... well, ick is the best term I
can think of... What's more, that 100 pound object is quite likely to be
devastating to boats and fortifications as well. Probably the 10 pound object
too (how much did cannonballs typically weigh in the 16th-18th centuries?)

I'd think that they might be more like:

2) 1d10
3) 1d30
4) 1d100
5) 1d1000

That 1400 pound object? Good good. I'd say Roll some dice vs agility, and if
you fail, pick a god real quick.
