As you will recall, Greg, it was night fall and I said that there was
sufficient ambient light to see about. Perhaps I gave a little too much
information for the distance covering but not neccessarily given that
there where lanterns along the wall. No one in the party got noticed
until there was a loud thump created by Mike's character plummeting 40'
to the ground. Even then, had I not blown his move silently skill, he
probably would have gotten away unnoticed. The only time when the
darkness was a big factor was when the party was in the forest where the
light from the stars was very minimumal.
But, please, don't be afraid to mention such things during the adventure.
