I think it says "slowly drain" is due to the small amounts
usually used to effect the drain. I believe Dan did the
translation that 1 oz. drains 1 U ( EU/DU ). So it should
read:
	Magic is drained from an individual at a rate of
1 Unit ( Elemental and Divine ) per oz. per round.

	What about groups of people? I think it all matters
on the Terisium and not how much it can absorb but how much
it can suck out of people surrounded.
