As you all know I really don't like any extra time to pass. It makes
some plots stale versus energetic. I had one little town just to the
North East of Rougtero called Jerumna. I put this town at the base
of Mt. Fajro a few years before Rougtero was even cleared for the
refugees. To much time passing didn't bother my plot since the main
actor had a HUGE bluefield effect happening with the aid of some
extra magics so I could ignore time. Unfortunately those magics
were broken and with the change in Blue Field they couldn't be
redone ( besides Rob took over Lars Ministra's house ). But now
all of my actors are aging again and getting old quick.

If an adventure takes 3 days with travel time for one group and
another adventure takes 3 weeks there should be some way to have
people do things during the intermin. Maybe the people who went
away have to play another adventurer till the return of their other.
This works for me since I have 3 but there are those who don't like
to play more than 1. The worst lack of time is when you are on a
continuing adventure. You go away for 4 days but the adventure took
2 games to play out. Now 5 months have passed due to other adventures
( exagerrated ). What were you doing for that in between downtime?
If I am an adventurer as soon as I get home I want 2 things. One
to lick my wounds and heal and Two another mission ( not necessarily
in that order ). But to sit around for 4 months without a job sucks
maybe there was nothing to do but I doubt it ( especially since others
got hooked during this time ). The best answer is that training and
learning I needed. There is just too much "unaccounted" time going
by. It really hurts plots though when a GM has a series which are
continuous ( at least for them ) thing but the world keeps going
faster than their plot can deal. As it stands Centralia has had ALOT
happen over the last several weeks and as players we haven't had
a good way to intervene and take control of our advenrurer's lives
and things that effect us. I even lost my house and forge.
