As Wright pointed out. The distances in the book for the solar system
make more sence as miles. The reason for this is they are miles. When
the numbers were made they were done as miles and then Mets were brought
into the game and just simply replaced miles whenever found. While this
worked fine for the rest of the book ( with revisions made later ) the
Solar System did not get recalculated. My book at home has the Met values
written in and this has been brought to Dan's attention and I believe
he had gone through to fix this. Wright seems to think that wasn't done
and it might be a confused backup issue since Anubis has died once or
twice since inception of AQ.
