When Dana Shea made Geleia I'm pretty certain he just made it and more
or less didn't try to make it fit the book. So there should be no strong
look at what the planet looks like and since retcons suck Geleia needs to
stay too large.

ps at no point does Rhode Island have a dimension over 50 miles get your
own dimensions right :) oh unless your counting all of the Atlantic out
to Block Island and that gives you another 32 miles. So for accuracy
along the north border its 20 Miles wide expanding as you go south along
the Mass border to 36 miles wide and 48 miles North/South on the Conn.
