Re: Question
I would like to see a game which encouraged FUN.
In my opinion fun is an adventure which stimulates
thinking, role-playing, and keeps me thoroughly
entertained (from both a GM perspective or a player).
To some extent the current system has degenerated
into a power gaming event much of the time. This
is not necessarily the fault of the system (in my
not so humble opinion), but a combination of some
players and GMs allowing/encouraging it by not
thinking things through.
Maybe some rule changes would encourage more
role-playing and fun, but probably any real changes
will require a mindset shift on the part of GMs and
players.
(Well, you did ask...:) )
