Laid???

The Obsedo of the character that started the "cult of Laid" has from the
beginning to form a sect of Priests that can act as powerfully as they
feel.  Limited by the spells at hand, he created a spell group designed to
let a priest perform any act necessary.  The sect is not necessarily
"evil" or driven like a hirudo sect.  They simply believe in survival of
the fittest.  Those who don't make their own spells and items and don't
stick together will eventually perish, or so goes some of the reasoning.
The spells were run and approved by Dan, and the items were all run by a
senior GM, and were adjudicated accordingly.  A great deal of experience
(over a hundred ratings) has been spent in order to realize this, and the
character spent more than 30 years in study, creating the spells.  I would
appreciate it if creativity and character development are met with a
positive attitude, not Lyle's skepticism and knee-jerk defensive posture.

If anyone is really interested... ASK!  No one has asked me about the
group, the procedures, or the action and motivations of it.  If Wright or
someone else wants to take it under their wing for the setting, I will
write it up.  This would enrich the campaign, and encourage others to do
the same (with their own free time).
