Re: New Geleians have landed!
Hello everybody. Hope you don't mind me interjecting here. I asked to
be
on this list because I'm looking to start moderating a game out here in
sunny Cal., and I wanted to be up on the goings-on.
First off, I think Lyle has an excellent point. It is the
responsibility of GMs
to avoid the appearance of 'chicanery'. (Hope I used that word
correctly:) At
the same time, it's important for everyone to realize that mistakes
happen. In
such cases, constructive criticism should be given rather than
condemnation.
Second, if 'golden boy' is who I think he is, yes he had a lot of
items. I did
not collaborate to get them, however. I had played that character for
many years,
and in time, you can definitely accumulate. Most of the items were
rather rinky-
dink. The 2 most powerful were eventually taken from him (which I
wasn't happy
about, but oh well:-). A lot of it was that as a player, I had an
aversion to
using expendable items. Therefore, I just kept them forever and they
served no
purpose. I have since learned better!
Greetings,
Dave
