Points of interest

Hi all,
I have been just sitting here listening for a while because I
wanted to see what would shake out. I have a couple of comments on what
has been said overall. First of all I must admit that I as much as anyone
has bought into the fallacy that Centralia characters have lots of items.
I was on an adventure when two of the character started sifting through
about 15-20 items a piece. The GM was frustrated because they practically
lived at the computer, but in all fairness I have seen just as many people
from the Karfelon/Reugtero campaign. I think the point is that we as GM's
must be more responsible with our item creation. I myself have created
some items that have been a little off, but in almost two years of GMing I
have gotten up to about 12 items.
With all due respect to you Dan, I must say that what I think
this campaign needs is a little bit more micromanaging. What we need is a
core group that is willing to manage some of the important things like the
economy. I will only be here for another six months, but I am willing to
try and help out. I would like to try to make this new campaign work. I
think that many people got a little tired of not knowing what was going on
in the old one. I have a few questions.
1) How will the things be broken up? I mean the regions of the country.

2) How are we supposed to keep our characters out of that region that we
control if we don't know we are going there? Many adventures take a big
left turn and end up where they were not intended.

3) How are we planning on drumming up support for the newbie campaign?

4) Who is running the newbie campaign other than Dan this year?

These last two questions are ones that we really should think of
too. I know that we want to get interest in the campaign over the people
we already have, but we need fresh blood and some new GM's as well. We
are having too much trouble getting GM's. Plus I think that we only got
like two new GM's in the last year or so. It is tough when we lose three
or four each year to graduation.
